today, we were taught about karl marx and the history of north and south korea. reminds me of my college days ^_^
how i miss debating about the pros and cons of communism and capitalism.
communism would only be effective if everyone in the community is a christian. si sir vlad ata nagsabi nun samin nung econ sa 4th year highschool. nasa book of james ata yun... o john? basta J hahaha! ilan lang ba ang books sa bible na J? sige na nga hahanapin ko kung maalala ko XD
oh, naaalala ko yan... sir vlad quoted from Acts and Ephesians... pati yung famous lines ni sir na "communism without Christ is like a car without an engine"
ReplyDeletealthough it could be inferred na hindi rin nagtagal yung ganung super duper sacrificial giving na lifestyle kasi naubusan na ng mabebentang pag-aari, but the conclusion was that the rich lived a simpler life, and those who were poor received help. ayun...

ReplyDeletenatuwa talaga ako kay sir vlad nun. narealize ko na lang later na most, if not all economists are anti communism. siyempre, gusto nila ng businesses at gusto nila ng profit. kaya nga nag-aaral ng economics para lumaki ang chance na magkaroon ka ng mas madaming pera diba?
newei, a lot of people see communism as too "perfect" to the point that it's impossible to achieve. but it's not perfect, it has a lot of flaws. and it is possible. the world is just not ready. people are naturally selfish so mahihirapan talagang matanggap ng mayayaman na kailangan nila i-share ang kanilang kayamanan sa mga nangangailangan. isa pang mahirap matanggal ay ang konsepto ng pamilya. sa komunismo, walang pamilya. lahat ay parte ng isang komunidad. wala kang magulang. wala kang kapatid. lahat kayo pantay-pantay. hirap imagine noh?
