the philippines is such a conservative country that it subconsciously resents change and progress. i totally understand why the catholic church had such a negative reaction regarding sex education and distribution of condoms pero sana maintindihan nila na poverty is proportional to the number of children in most cases (i hate you villar for saying that it's ok to have many kids and still be able to escape poverty. false hope!!!) and actually educating people about how their body works would actually help them and not ruin them. the key is timing. grade 1 is definitely too early. i think that you should have an understanding of sexuality before freshman highschool or else your friends would bombard you with all the information you would ever need, which is good, as long as what they're telling you is true and correct. but what if they're wrong?
